Chiropractic for Pregnancy
There can be many varying experiences of pregnancy in pregnancy depending on external factors, medical history, and physical well-being. Very generally, we focus on helping our practice members get the best outcomes possible and also experience less of the difficult symptoms and discomfort that can come with pregnancy.
When working with Pregnant practice members we focus on the “Three P’s” of a healthy pregnancy and delivery: Power, Passage, and Passenger. This means helping our members obtain physical and mental strength to deliver with relative ease, minimizing complications and allowing you and your infant less exposure to traumatic birth experiences.
How We Help Pregnant Practice Members
We use both Webster Technique and Network Spinal in our care for pregnant practice members. These complementary systems focus on different aspects of your well-being during pregnancy.
Webster Technique
Webster Technique is specific in its focus of working on aligning the pelvis and hips both to achieve comfort and relax tension in the surrounding muscles. This care helps a great deal with sciatic pain and pubic pain that many pregnant women experience. Webster technique is very valuable to assure a safe passage with strong and properly aligned joints and muscles.
Network Spinal
Network Spinal comes into play for assuring general wellness and making sure your body, which is going through one of the most challenging experiences in producing life, remains healthily interconnected and ready for the challenges of birth. In particular, many of the symptoms common during pregnancy can be counterbalanced using Network Spinal to guide your nervous system’s healing intelligence towards them.
Learn More
It’s important to understand that Network Spinal doesn’t only address physical symptoms and discomforts. Instead, it is a system intended to help to address your entire self: body, mind, and spirit. This means that even some of the struggles we rarely discuss in our culture, such as post-partum, body dysphoria during pregnancy, depression, and other challenges you may be facing can be addressed and improved. It’s important to us that we care for you in a complete way that makes you more well on all levels.
